Hotel De L'Univers - Arras

Great location plus spacious room!

Had a blast visiting the Xmas market, just a short walk away. The room was super spacious and clean. On the downside, the bar could've used more staff. Breakfast was mixed. Rolls on day two were hard. But overall, a nice stay!

The warm welcome at check-in and the charming historical atmosphere made our stay special. The connectivity issues with the Wi-Fi were frustrating during our three nights as we planned our visits.

The hotel is ideally located near significant WW1 memorial sites, providing easy access to explore the rich history of the area.

Service at the bar during dinner was significantly lacking, as the staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive.

The room was lovely, but the air conditioning was way too loud for comfort.

Large, clean rooms provided a comfortable stay, complemented by good bedding and cozy pillows. The location offered easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions. Parking was quite tight was good. The breakfast, while varied, could benefit from more attention to freshness, as some items felt less appealing on subsequent days.

It's conveniently located near key local attractions, perfect for anyone looking to soak in the culture of the area.

Parking is a real headache. Limited slots at €10 a night and even then, we couldn't secure one, forcing us to hunt for street parking a fair distance away. The room I stayed in wasn't up to par. The shower in the bath had old, cracked sealant, and the overall maintenance could use a boost. Meals were a mixed bag-while breakfast options exist, they're overpriced for what you get, and some dishes at dinner were frankly unimpressive. Plus, the room could have benefited from more space and better room features, as it felt somewhat cramped and lacking a mini-fridge.

Excellent hotel with 24-hour reception, laundry, and free wi-fi. On my first stay, the staff helped me print my boarding pass, which I remember fondly.

Family with children great stopover

The breakfast was well stocked with scrambled eggs and those little sausages, and the coffee was downright delicious,,, especially with hot milk. While the meals were a bit hit and miss, our last dinner had that really simple pork fillet that just hit the spot after a long day.

It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but acceptable enough for what we got.

Would definitely recommend for a brief pit stop

Comfortable room, beautiful location, with a convenient bar/lounge area where we enjoyed a good breakfast and the hotel also offers free Wi-Fi, made planning our day so much easier.
